Wah wah I can't find what I'm looking for. These items have been in the back of my mind for ages and I can't find them in real life..

I need a magazine rack like this, obviously:

I have been hunting for the perfect black leather or leather-ish jacket for more than a year. I have a sweet enough fake leather brown one, but it's getting sad and old.

I have also been looking for a cute denim skirt forever. Denim at work all through the week? OK with me. Cute denim skirts for petites do not seem to exist in PEI.

I will probably order some of this online, I'm not sure that I can live without.. My love Kat Von D has a make up line with Sephora and just released perfumes. Look at the solid rose ring, awww. It's all here!!

Somehow I hope that sharing these thoughts with the internet will give me luck enough to find the perfect matches in real life!

Everyone knows From Autumn to Ashes has been one of my favorite bands forever. What you may not know is that the drummer/vocalist Francis Mark had a side project in 2005. The band was called Biology and their one and only album is definitely still one of my favorites.

One of my favorite designer/illustrators is Carolyn Gavin. She has those adorable Ecojot journals, fabrics and the K&Co Greenhouse scrapbook line. I purchased some of her wrapping paper at an art store in Halifax and have it framed in my bedroom. Everything she does is so cute!

I've stumbled upon some new music lately, and I'm all the way excited about these bands!

Kingdoms (Ontario) opened for Silverstein last month. I am stoked that I bought their CD and have been listening to it pretty non stop.

Gloryhound (Nova Scotia) played at Baba's a couple of weeks ago and were wonderful.

The Meds (PEI), I finally saw them for the first time a couple of weeks ago when they opened for By Divine Right. A PEI band that I can actually stand, this is big news people.

Big Game Hunt (Nova Scotia) played last night at The Seahorse in Halifax for their Halloween Burlesque show. So did Gloryhound, but we missed them :(
